It doesn't look to me like the people in the game are actually subsaharan-africans, they do look like egyptians, but I think people are upset, because they think they made the egyptians in the game look like subsaharan africans, buying into the social justice narrative that ancient egyptians were dindus rather than norther africans as we know them today. It's complete BS so people get upset thinking ubisoft is pandering to that. that's the origin of the we wuz kangz meme, too. You cant see a whole lot of it, but the facial features don't look very subsaharan african to me and the skins have the colour youd expect in ancient egypt (sun is OP, pls nerf)

I didn't really notice anything that looked very off to me, but I didn't watch the trailer very closely. The odd black person could be nubian as well, wouldn't bother me that much.
