When I played BP / Caern, I enjoyed BP more myself, but that's really starting to compare whats best to faceplant yourself in; cow shit or horse shit

I thoroughly enjoyed the BP. But that might also be because it was the first tank with actual armour after having played both Churchills for like 150 games.

Churchill VII was i believe the only tank that made me quit a grind. I started going down that line pretty much right as it was put into the game, thinking how it will be cool to play slow pewpwe tonks that bounce a lot. Turns out they didnt bounce at all, especially in the times of KV-1S/full APCR hellcat floods. That really made me feel completely inadequate driving that piece of shit.

I would though like to get FV215b or chieftain (if that ever gets into the tech tree) at some point, but with the CHVII and BP in the way...

Another problem is the sluggishness of of those tanks. Low flexing capabilities is a shait.

BP was okay IF you were top tier and IF the battle wasn't over too fast for you to get anywhere and IF enemies hadn't heard of gold ammo
I really liked the Caenarvon. Okay yeah ammorack was behind the lower plate and the turret armour wasn't reliable(everything penned above mantlet) but when you hid the lower plate and didn't give the enemies time to aim at the turret you could do marvels

Yeah, the line up from Tier 6 is basically:

M44: 250 HEATpen troll
M12: solid
M40/43: basically a tier 9
M53/55: a Tier 10
T92: troll

US hands down; the only stinker is the M12 and even that one is objectively an average or even slightly above average arty for its tier. M40/43 and M53/55 are the two best arties in their tiers. In fact, the M53 is so good that it arguably qualifies as the second best arty in the game.
