i like her voice, but what im really tired of is this bland overused mainstream house beat in the background

It's mainstream music aimed at commercial success. Personally, I really don't mind it at all since it's not what I usually listen to, so it doesn't sound overused to me. Or maybe I am just used to overused beats since I like hiphop a lot and tons of beats sound like exact copy and paste there, lol.

This is her first properly produced original single and she is having a proper contract with a label now. I guess they want to be extra careful with the first album and make sure to hit the mainstream where she has already had two successful singles in Germany, especially during summertime these beats are particularly popular. It makes sense as a decision. At least it's what I would do. Maybe she will experiment a bit more later on.

And you can be sure even if she's not willing to experiment there will be variations of her songs if she's commercially successful.

All the mixes veit just posted are pretty generic for their genres, too. The singer isn't anything special either (and, besides having a very different type of voice, she's still certainly nowhere near jasmine's level). If neither the beat nor the vocals make a song stand out, what is left?
