Staffies are great dogs. Bad reputation much like the Pitbull, but are in fact lovely dogs. Just seem to attract the wrong sort of owners most of the time unfortunately.

The thing is these kinds of dogs are much stronger, they were bred to be muscular. So, if an owner fails to train their dog properly and somebody or something gets attacked, the damage is much more severe. That and the fact they attract the wrong kinds of owners are really the only reasons why they hit the news so often

Indeed, but honestly when it comes to staffies, it all really depends on the country. Like the Staffordshire Bull Terrier was voted best family dog for 2 years in The UK. But yea people tend to get them for the wrong reasons, that's why it's awesome when I meet strangers on the street who want to talk and pet him, and when they see how happy and friendly he is they get a complete different sight on things, cause they have the same idea of every single one being bad ass cage dogs trained for the worst. But yea if there's one thing we got plenty of in this world, it's idiots.
