Yes i still remember the insane difficulty like Cerberus on legendary in that tiny room, one step in the wrong direction and you melted away pretty fast. :p

Seems this year will be the return of Park building games and a love building games and managing stuff:

We have Rollercoaster Tycoon World:

And last but not least Parkitect:




I have my eyes on Planet Coaster because of the freedom where you can place objects and furnish your park. Parkitect looks like RCT but in 3D with funky graphics.

Is anyone allready into Paragon?
Scud and me got the founder pack (it will be free to play once its in beta though).
Its a 3rd person Moba by Epic Games, pretty fun so far.

Its good to have some diversity in the Park Builder games, and I'm a sucker for isometric games, which is why I'm hyped the most for Parkitect.

Paragon looks interesting, seems like a fresh breath into MOBAs.

Been playing Factorio, and its fucking good.

This is actually a nice relaxing timewaster. Harvest moon 2.0. I already rekt the game though, greenhouse full ancient fruits + 100 whinebarrels = infinite money. You don't even need anything else so you can turn your land into a nature reserve.

And then there is Thoryk wasting his entire morning to get all his shit done on the farm

Nope, 100% legit. Got the greenhouse and all the other bundles unlocked halfway year 2. Use the few ancient fruits you harvest in the seedmaker to make more ancient seeds and keep repeating that until you have enough seeds to fill your greenhouse. gg ez. Ancient fruits are worth shitloads and if you make them into wine you triple the value again. It's like 400k per 8 days or something. Then you never have to chop wood or mine ores cause you can just buy everything but iridium.

I blame CS and CoD popularity bringing Doom down to that level look at the fucking mess on the screen. Ah well, let's hope the campaign is good.

Looks like UT with Doom weapons

Orginal Doom DM still best and Q3 is nice too. New UT looks promising too but i see nothing new in there, would rather just play UT99. Heck even Serious Sam DM was good, dunno why all these new games fail so hard. The console era i guess

Which are just turning into PC's, having to download updates before chance to play, download games digitally, marketplace, mediaplayer, browser, next up Windows 10 on XONE. In turn PC's are turning into consoles with overpriced steamboxes and SteamOS made for controllers. Guess the only way forward is to install old games and live with the fact most sequels will be dumped down cash grabs that are geared towards teens that never learned to properly use a mouse and keyboard. Really some good game series have been completely raped by developing it for consoles in mind, the last gem must be Quantum Break developed by Remedy Entertainment who developed Max Payne, ported the game to Windows without even testing to see if there was a bloody exit button in the main menu!



on the bright side, i don't have time to play many games anymore, sometimes unexpected gems do turn up Wolfenstein: the old/new blood?
