No Man's Sky is
up for pre-order with a june 22nd release date.
Bit pricey at €60, but at least the pre-order bonus seems to be reasonable, as in nice for those that want it but not missing out on free DLC or sth if you want to wait for reviews.

pre-ordering or buying at release is very uncommon for me nowadays...only cases are like a mp games which 90% of my friends are playing or sth not too pricy.
it's just so frustrating when u buy a game on release for 60€ and 3 months later it's for 50% in steamsale...and u didn't spend that much time playing it those
3 months anyway so you could have just endured :x

And often you get a really shitty product and get to be beta tester for a while.

Pretty fun space game if you fancy 2D games.

Aye, I went into this trap a couple of times right after crowdfunding became a thing, and nowadays I don't pre-order games at all, except when the developer is known for top notch quality shit. Though, I barely buy games at all these days, and I've wasted way too much money on Steam.

Mount & Blade II is going to be so fucking great. Now this is something that could be pre-ordered.

There's even a top-down 2D mode in this game if you find games with 3 spatial dimensions too challenging.

Been playing Grim Dawn this afternoon and its absolutely fantastic, if you liked Titan Quest this is a must buy (same engine and core developers). Available on Good old Games or Steam. Right now running a demolist and occultist build and throwing explosives is so much fun, just like lobbing arty shells in WoT

.

Yeah, have been playing it with a friend all the weekends since it got released. Sure is lots of fun, but some things start to get really annoying as fuck once you get to the last difficulty (to some extent even on the 2nd difficulty). Especially that on the last difficulty you simply dont feel at all like youre being rewarded for playing it. It is quite difficult, everything takes way more time (there isnt the situation like in D3 where you faceroll highest difficulty after 6 hours of gameplay and are virtually unkillable/kill everything in 1 second max), and then you get the same (well, worse when you account for the increased time) drop as on the second difficulty. It really is way more efficient to just farm elite rather than ultimate, which is sad. Also the poison/acid/bleeding damage is way over the top, especially on ultimate. Those resists arent easy to get, and even if you have solid resists on those, you get one DoT on you and are most likely simply dead, cant do shit about it. Then there are some random oneshots here and there and you have no idea what it was that killed you, but that doesnt happen often enough to really be annoying.
The rest of the game is really fun tho. Especially the feeling like theres still stuff to improve on your char, and that the game never really gets piss easy. And as you said, anyone who liked titan quest should feel right at home (well, it is pretty much titan quest with different textures).
If they doubled droprate on ultimate and looked into some of the ridiculous DoTs and made playing melee characters viable past elite then it would be almost flawless.
