I can't remember where I read this but its a very apt description of bfmv.
bands like bullet for my valentine are to metal what McDonalds is to food; cheap, easily marketed, somewhat digestible, but completely flavourless and flat.

This is one of my favourite melodic death metal tracks. I know it's 14 mins long, but it truly never gets boring <3

This music isn't even metalcore, it's just some guitars and drums coupled with some gibberish resembling the emotional landscape of a 14yrs old girl on her period. But that's my opinion and it's a matter of taste, of course.
