I have a feeling the implied abduction of Lyanna by Rhaegar isn't true, and that he/she where actually in love.
Lyanna was betrothed and married to Robert at an early age, and could've easily been disgusted by his personality, cheating and alcoholism.

Oh and apparently there just like 13 episodes left?!

I agree, it looks more and more like Lyanna simply ran away with Rhaegar. And the fact that Lyanna didn't return Robert's affection made him only more obsessed with her (which is where his alcoholism is coming from, after she died). The big question is, did they marry in secret, and if so, can anyone testify to that? Also, where the f is Howland Reed, because he is the only living witness to what happened at the Tower of Joy. Bran's word will hardly count for much.

We don't really know much about the lives at that time, it's just a gut feeling, and it's mentioned in the books that Rhaegar loved Lyanna, and since Lyanna instantly deeply loves Jon, it might be a mutual relationship. (Though, it could just be the motherly instinct)
Either way, Rhaegar must have been fascinated by her either way.
