So a dog just casually "espaces" home, randomly walks 20 blocks to the exact hospital and his owner just happens to sit at the hospital entrance while "recovering" from surgery, eh?

The owner works next to the hospital and the dog was taken to work a few times. Dogs can be quite good at finding their way home or to familiar places by picking up smells for orientation. "Owner is in trouble, where did owner go, lets check where I know owner goes, oh here I smell owner/familiar smells nearby, somewhere in that building here I think".

The owner did not happen to be sitting at the hospital entrance. Staff saw the dog. Checked the dog tag. Called the owner's number on there. Family went there to pick him up.

I call this: fake news!!!
