I got fed up with the shitty sound in my car. I bought a radio and coax speakers, and while they weren't bad, the bass was just too underwhelming. Time for door speakers!

Had to buy those because my car doesn't have door speakers:


And i bought those because veri gud and they were 40€ off:


And 5m² of this expensive as fuck shit because I don't want to half-ass things:


Speaking of halfassing things, I have no amp yet, and this is already way past my budget, so I hope the speakers do fine w/o an amp for a while.

nice project but do you rly need those door speakers? wouldnt it be enough to go for a nice luggage room tray system without med frequency speakers? for the amp as long as your radio has like 4x50w power it should be sufficient unless you want your driver license plat to vibrate off the holder

The alpine radio i bought is specified as MAX 4x50W, but in reality its just like pretty much every other radio with about 4x15W or something like that. Radios with stronger amps are far more expensive AFAIK. The speakers require 30 - 120W or something. So I'll definitely need an amp to get the most out of them.

I don't want speakers in the back because they look gay af through the rear window, much more work with cables, and idk what other reasons.

hifitest has rankings for different components, 4 channel amps for instance, and theres one they gave a pretty good review for upper class amps that is only 145€ new. IDK what to think of that. may be worth it?

No they don't

I mean yeh theres facelifts but the differences are VERY subtle afaik

you got leaf scrapers:
you got more curved sexii ones:
you got race versions :
and the ones with the big wing:

They arent the most different yeah but there is still something to do with it

these are heavily modified by their owners and not different versions of the years 2014,2015,201X

Plates are from Allegro (Polish sub-ebay) - bought them to stay "low profile"

Oooh okay.
I guess you dont really notice when there is one german plate among infinite polish ones.
But in germany that doesnt fly
only "non regular" things we get on the plates are an E (electric) or H (old timer, 30+) at the end
besides that its up to 3 letters for the town in the front then up to 2 letters followed by up to 4 numbers.
and the only customizable things you get are the 2nd letters and the numbers (given that isnt taken before)

so my old plates looked like this.
LEV - CZ 42

TL;DR germany doesnt have letters in the last "block" that shit gets you pulled over

Are those valid polish plates?

I think he used them just for the video. I think the EU enforces some standards for license plates so countries cant just allow arbitrary license plates

JP checked out a random fan's Hyundai i30N. I really don't like hyundai, but this is pretty cool, I have to admit. Skip to ~11:15 for sound. It's all stock.
